Dear Friends and Family,

Many of you may have already heard. But for those of you who haven’t, Mom went to be with the Lord on Friday evening, November 14. It was very quick and unexpected. I was sitting across the room. Mom had just sat down in her favorite chair and complained about a pain in her arm and throat. I walked across the room and gently touched her. Her color left her, she slumped back into her chair and she was gone. We will all miss her terribly, but at the same time we know that she’s where she’s wanted to be for a long time… with her Lord and with Dad, her best friend and husband. Appreciate your prayers, especially for Heidi, in this difficult time of adjustment. Thank you so much to each of you for your loving support and friendship over the years. Mom and Dad and our whole family cherished these. It’s a wonderful thing to know we’ll all be reunited again in heaven.

"What a day that will be, when my Jesus I shall see, And I look upon His face, the One who saved me by His grace. When He takes me by the hand and leads me through the Promised Land, What a day, glorious day, that will be!"

With all our love,

— Ian, Marie, Mike, Mary Jo, Steve, Martha, Harvey and Heidi

The Old Rugged Cross

“…then He'll call me some day to my home far away,
where His glory forever I'll share.”

John 14:3

If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.

Max always thought, “You never really retire from the Lord’s work until God brings you home.”

Max is finally retired now, the Lord brought him home.  We will miss him.
